How to Prepare for Immersions Week
There is a lot of content to cover during the week so to better prepare 4-6 weeks in advance.
During this time, you should review all the materials provided by your business performance coach who will also help you understand and plan for your launch through the Franchise Opener Checklist.
The Franchise Opener is a complete checklist of tasks to will help you through your count down to your business launch. These set tasks are designed to get you on track and set your business up for success from day one. It will require commitment, accountability and dedication. To further support you with the Franchise Opener Checklist, your coach will schedule weekly calls to guide and prepare you for Immersions Week.
Immersions Week takes place at Nurse Next Door HeartQuarters, based in the beautifully cultured Melbourne. You are encouraged to come well-rested, with an open mind and heart, ready to learn and participate.
During Immersions Week
Across five days Nurse Next Door will fully immerse you in the culture, brand and systems so you can go home equipped with the skills, knowledge and confidence to get your home care business off the ground and fast-tracked to success.
You will learn from informative sessions that will show you how to be leaders, effective executors, great communicators, skilled managers of people and excellent operators to grow your business.
During five days of training, you will:
- Meet your support team at HeartQuarters
- Mingle with other new Franchise Partners
- Engage in interactive lessons on all aspects of the business
- See first-hand how our systems work
- Experience how we live our core values daily
- Prepare your countdown to launch… and more!
On one of the nights, you’ll enjoy a big social dinner with the Leadership Team, support team and fellow Franchise Partners so you can build a strong support network. You’ll have time during the other evenings to explore the city or review training materials ready for the next day!
After Immersions Week
As the week comes to a close, you will walk out with a 16-week plan, a business coach and a whole team to support you with your launch but, support doesn’t just stop after there.
Our business coaches work closely with Franchise Partners on a weekly basis all the way from pre-launch through to post-launch to always ensure you are heading in the right direction and set up for success!

Monthly Metrics Tracker
This dashboard will keep you on track during the initial weeks after launching your business in your local area through key performance indicators (KPIs).
One Page Plan
The One Page Plan is part of Nurse Next Door’s overall strategic vision and is a tool that will allow you to set goals, budgets and metrics for the fiscal in order to guide your business and implementation strategies.
Operations Manual
This is the key comprehensive go-to guide for all things Nurse Next Door. The manual states the standard operating procedures, and explains the what, who, where, why and how, alongside tips and resources for you to leverage to support your business! This is Nurse Next Door’s one best way.
It is common for many Franchise Partners to stay in touch with other Franchise Partners from Immersions Week as they will often trade best practices and check in on each other’s progress. Similarly, it’s also encouraged for new Franchise Partners to reach out to established Franchise Partners so you can have a strong support network.
